What is art?  What isn't?

My appreciation of the beauty of minerals and gemstones have always been ornamentalized.  I see it as art.  Fine art. Glass gives me the ability to show the characteristics of what I find beautiful about gems and minerals in this perspective.

​Ancient and still. The remarkable entity of a gem crystal is associated with time and motionless tranquility. There is a rigidness that holds strength and stability, stability to survive millions of years while keeping its transparency and hiding no history or emanation. It’s history created its perfection. This fascination of the fleshless longevity of the mineral world has always captivated us for its immortality.
